Greetings!

My name is Todd Fox. I am currently employed by Richmor Aviation in their charter department flying King Airs and Cessna 310's. I am a good example of how, with dedication, one can make a dream of flying become a reality in a short amount of time and have a great time doing it.

I began as a Richmor student in April of 1998 working on my private pilot certificate. I had flown only ultralights prior to joining general aviation. However, on day one, I knew what I wanted and was determined to make the career change one step at a time. I got my private pilot in 3 months. I went on immediately to get my Instrument, Commercial, CFI, CFII and Multi-engine ratings. I had fantastic instructors all along the way at Richmor and I give them the credit for my quick progression. I was very comfortable with the training environment and every minute was productive.

I'm very happy with my new job.The people are friendly, the atmosphere is exciting and I look forward to spending many years in the seats of those King Airs and C-310's.Hope to see you aboard!

Todd Fox

Hello!

My name is John Spannhake, and I was hired as a flight instructor by Richmor Aviation in January of 1991. Now, 10 years later, I am a captain on a Gulfstream III, flying all over the world.

My tenure as flight instructor lasted two and a half years before getting the call to join the charter department. I entered as a King Air 90 and 200, as well as C-310 copilot. By August of 1994, I took my ATP check-ride and upgraded to C-310 Captain. Soon I made King Air Captain too. This period was one of the most rewarding periods of my career at Richmor.

In the fall of 1995, I went to school for my first jet type rating in the Beechjet 400 which allowed me to move up to jets. We had a very busy schedule and I started building jet time at the rate of 500 hours per year. Next came the upgrade to captain a year later and a year after that was offered the job of Gulfstream copilot in November 1997.

My time in the Gulfstreams has been very exciting! I have literally been all over the world from Europe to South America to India and Africa. I've flown celebrities, sports stars and politicians. It's something new every day.

I've been Gulfstream captain since April of 2000 and my job continues to be challenging and rewarding. Richmor salaries are competitive and we have excellent benefits. The schedule can be demanding, but I can honestly say I still enjoy my job.

We are growing every year and looking to hire good pilots. I would recommend Richmor Aviation to any prospective flight instructor looking to begin a rewarding career. Good luck and hope to see you on board!

John Spannhake
